Hi All
I continue browsing the forum and just found out about the walk with lions we are definately going! Sorry I'm rambling on to my question. We are heading to Mauritius in October and can't wait! My partner would like for one night to stay in a beach hut are there any around and if so can anyone recommend one.
Thanks

Hi Babs,
Greeting from a fellow Irish Person!!
I have never seen any beach huts here, but I will investigate and find out for you..
Most properties on the beach are privately owned, and by hotels,. You could rent a property which backs (fronts) on to the beach, but they would be expensive.
Best Wishes

Hi JohnJoe
Greetings to you too from the big smoke! Thanks for your reply, I'll wait to hear from you. Seen you around a lot in the forum and it would be great to have an irish bar in Mauritius!
We are staying in legends hotel and I know that there are no beach huts there but the other half really wants to stay in one for a night (obviously I'm not enthusiastic about it, I like my creature comforts).
Hope to hear from you soon

Hi JohnJoe,
I hope you have a great time when you're home in Dublin, you can get your nice pint of guinness, not a great fan myself though! I live in Dublin on the SCR but I'm originally from Belfast I've been in Dublin for about 10 years and I still love it!
Let me know how you get on re the Irish pub and the beach huts
Talk to you soon
