Hello
Recently been to Mauritius and Had an amazing holiday. I strongly recommend you to drive and go around the island. You can really capture great shots at different times of the day. My favourite shots were at Tamarin at sunset.
Driving is safe but just be careful as it can get quite busy in the morning during peak hours. You can find a few car rental companies but also always book with a registered one (the ones with yellow numbers). As for me I booked with DH CAR RENTAL http://www.dhcarrental.com Got a really good deal and great personalized service.

Good information Chris,
Did you drive in Port Louis as well? if so I am sure you noticed the difference from the south...
I have great fun trying to 'miss the motorcyclists' and those new battery driven bikes are a real danger.

That is true. One has to drive very carefully, especially at night. _________________ Liebe Grüße Marco Polo |
