Hi I am interested in starting up an Irish Club, (even a UK one)
for anyone to join.
The theme would be Irish- music - photos, and you name it and I will add in in!
You don't have to be Irish to join - just interested in Irish culture and good stout.

Hell Johnjoe20,
An interesting idea. I hope you get a good crowd!
As for myself, I've always enjoyed a pint of "GUINNESS" with a plate of "IRISH STEW"!
Best regards

Hi Ud,
A man after my own heart - just what I like as well.
Irish Guinness is so different in Dublin - they have Malt stuff here, not too bad..... (bitter though)
There does not appear to be any Irish Pubs here. The one in Pereybere in not Irish at all -- just a sign!!
We I have become used to drinking wine occasionally just to compensate.
Best Wishes

I'm in!!!!!
Well, whenever I'm back in Mauritius for holidays, I would be happy to tag along....provided Irish stew and stout are included in the whole package!
The forum was busy last time with ppl from across the UK. I wonder where they've gone? Or they might have already returned home....
Well give them some time and let's see how it goes!
Best Regards

Hi Ud,
I am sure we can accommodate that request. I will get the wife to cook up a large batch of Irish Stew and I can stock up on the stout - only the best - not that Murphys stuff.
I will have to get a piece of the Blarney Stone for people to kiss as well - I will ask the Irish PM about that?

There's a new bazaar (Bazaar Bizarre) opening soon next to La Tanier restaurant at Pte aux Cannonier (Rte Royal) and the husband of the proprietor is Irish - also retired. Call in there when it's open and say hi.
I hear he loves an Irish whiskey. |
